ManagementHelp Launch a Radio-Astronomy Satellite
As an experiential learning activity for our new Business degree in Aerospace Systems Management, we are collaborating with Wallace State, Calhoun Community College, and others to design, build, test, and launch a small Radio-Astronomy satellite (STEM-SAT1) as early as the fourth quarter of 2023. We are soliciting donations towards purchasing satellite parts and components as well as supporting tracking station equipment. STEM-SAT1 is expected to be the first of several such space-related projects to benefit our Aerospace Systems Management, Advanced Manufacturing Management, and Management of Technology students.
