Grants and External Support

Grants and External Support can offer innovative support and expansion opportunities for faculty, students, and staff at Athens State.

Programs supported by grants have provided scholarships, materials, workshops, advising, and mentoring for students.  Additionally, two free courses are available through a grant for all Athens State students to help prepare them for their upper-division studies and advancement in the workforce.

University Advancement is actively looking for new grant opportunities.  We are working with faculty and staff to pursue and implement opportunities.  If you would like to apply for a grant please contact the Office of External Support – rachel.osullivan@xunli.net.  All Federal, State, Local, and Private grants are coordinated through the Office of External Support.

If you, your school, or your company would like to partner with Athens State on a collaborative grant, please contact Rachel O’Sullivan, AVP for External Support and Alumni Affairs  (rachel.osullivan@xunli.net) or Gabrielle Whitney McGraw, External Support and Grant Specialist (gabrielle.mcgraw@xunli.net) to discuss your proposal.

Additional resources for faculty and staff on the process and procedures can be found in the Policy Library at External Project Support.
